WE CALL IT MAGIC
Did I move that ?
The rediscovery of a hidden ability... your powerful "mind".
Researchers explain poltergeists via Quantum Physics - We're skeptical, but AFP,
a global news agency, explains that scientist has a history of
publishing outrageous stories, which are actually true.
Two physicists are publishing a paper in science
journal NeuroQuantology explaining the existence and activities of poltergeists.
Yes, poltergeists. Pierro Brovetto and Vera Maxia believe pubescent "female neuronal
activity" triggers quantum field changes. They believe that these disturbances
cause the flying objects and supernatural disturbances typical of poltergeist activity.
Similarly, the Rhine Center, a research center that studies the paranormal, suggests
that poltergeist effects are "outward manifestations of psychological trauma,"
and that the supernatural phenomena originates within human minds. In other words we
are capable moving things without contacting the actual object.
Telekinesis
My biology teacher in high school, who was also a psychologist, once showed the class
how to move a waste basket by just looking at it. She also said in a lecture that
telepathic (communicating without words with a person in distant) is possible.
Have we all had that experience dreaming of the same dream or thinking the exact subject
between friends and families/relatives without first speaking? Or you dropped/broke
something (or fell, or felt bad; uncomfortable
in a certain time frame) then later somebody you know called to report you that
a tragic relating to both of you had happened? Getting that emotional "click"
is crucial in the process. From using that same concept, we may well have the
ability to move things without hands by just staring and concentrating on the object.
Eerie...but fun.
Fortune tellers use this to train themselves to foretell the future.
We all know of somebody healed themselves from cancer (like those recovered AIDS
patients) by utilizing their willful mind. Scientists said what makes you is
what you believe in. Stand your ground. After all, we are all on the same boat - Earth, the
only planet so far we only know of that supports life and where we call "Home".
So in the end, my opinion on this is that the phrase " Keep your hands off! " and " Keep the hands to yourself "
does not apply here. Train, always feel and listen to your "6th sense (intuition; gut feeling)".
Tip I learned from one of my teacher: If you were given to choose only one from the many choices, and that you don't
know which one is right for you, choose the one you feel the most comfortable with.
For example, two answers from a multiple choice questionaire in an exam seem both correct.
But in fact, only one is the correct answer. Which one to mark? Pick the one that first took your notice. Your
first choice/feeling is always correct (as high as 80%). I've had
that experience. Trust me.

Should the car warm up before driving, or cool down after driving?
In the days of caveman when carburetors were used along with standard ignition systems,
it was a good idea to warm up the engine for 10 minutes or so before embarking on a
trip because carburetors had what was called a "Cold Start Circuit." This "circuit"
used a choke (a butterfly valve located in the top of the carburetor). The choke was
controlled by a bi-metallic spring that expanded and contracted, depending on the
temperature.
When cold, the spring would contract, pulling the choke closed. When
the choke was in the closed position, the carburetor would let in more
raw fuel than when the choke was open. Engines needed a much richer fuel
mixture to start when cold, hence the closing of the choke on cold startup.
After the engine warmed up, the spring would expand, the choke would open,
and the carburetor would run on the "Idle and Power Circuit," using much less fuel.
Why this history lesson? Because today's cars use EFI
(Electronic Fuel Injection) instead of carburetors. With EFI,
the system senses when it's cold outside and makes adjustments
to fuel delivery for cold start and run conditions. The computer
system monitors engine parameters while running and makes adjustments
to fuel delivery and ignition timing for optimum performance, regardless
of the engine temperature. Therefore, warm up or cool down really doesn't
matter on today's cars. Allow the engine to run a few minutes when it's very
cold before proceeding so that the oil is flowing, then off to your destination!
Does gas go bad?
Does gasoline really go bad if it were left it unused for a period of time?
Some people are convinced this is just another car myth, and that people who worry
about old gas and spend money on fuel stabilizer are wasting psychic energy
as well as cash.
But in fact, gasoline can degrade over time. That can lead to a number of problems,
ranging from hard starting, to rough running, to no starting at all.
Here's the reason:
Unlike crude oil, gasoline is a highly refined product brewed to a certain
chemical composition with very specific characteristics. One characteristic
of gas is volatility, a term used to describe how easily and under
what conditions the gas vaporizes so it can be efficiently burned in a car's engine.
The most highly volatile components in gasoline also tend to evaporate over time. As
they do, the remaining fuel's volatility and ability to combust properly degrades.
The less volatile the fuel, the less effectively it burns in the engine, and the
residue and
gunk - the biproduct of burnt fuel acculumates.
The result is diminished engine performance. The motor may still work,
but it probably won't do as well.
The good news is, once the old gas has been consumed and the tank
is topped off with fresh fuel, with occasional cleansing additives the
problem should cure itself.
Evaporation of volatile compounds can be limited by making sure
the gas cap is secured tightly. For the same reason, be sure all
portable gas containers are sealed tightly as well.
A more serious problem...
Oxidation.
Hydrocarbons in the gas react with oxygen to produce new compounds
that eventually change the chemical composition of the fuel. This leads to
varnish deposits in the fuel system.
These deposits and impurities can clog up gas lines and filters,
as well the small orifices in a carburetor and the even smaller orifices in
a fuel injector. Removing these deposits can be expensive and the vehicle may
not run at all or run very poorly until they are removed.
Water contamination.
Condensation can form inside the gas tank and lines
from heat cycling. Fuels such as E85,
which have a high concentration of ethanol alcohol,
may be even more susceptible to water contamination,
as ethanol likes to draw moisture out of the surrounding air.
Water contamination can be a problem at gas stations with
light traffic due to a slightly different kind of heat cycling.
The underground storage tanks experience increases and decreases
in temperature. This can cause moisture to form and contaminate the fuel.
When we fill up at such a station, we're pumping in the water along with the
gas. Such low-traffic stations may also have other contaminants in their
underground storage tanks, such as rust. They are best avoided when possible.
Water, of course, does not work too
well as a fuel in an internal combustion engine.
It will cause hard starting and rough running until it's
purged from the system. It can also contribute to internal rusting
of the gas lines and tank. The resultant scale and small particles
can create a true nightmare, sometimes requiring the replacement of the gas l
ines and tank at considerable expense.
Oxidized fuel often turns darker over time and may even smell sour.
You can reduce the chances of water contamination by keeping your car's gas
tank as close to full as possible, especially if the vehicle is going to be left idle
for an extended period.
How to identify bad gas?
One way is visual inspection. Oxidized
fuel often turns darker over time and may even smell sour. We
can check stored gasoline by pouring some into a clear glass
container and comparing it side-by-side with known fresh gasoline.
If the old sample looks noticeably darker than the fresh gas, we have
strong evidence the gas has gone bad.
How long does it take for gas to go bad?
That depends on a number of factors. For one, it's
hard to know how old the gas just bought actually is.
It may be fresh from the refinery, or it may be a month old already by the time it's
been topped off the tank.
Some gasoline is mixed with better or more oxidation inhibitors than others.
It's a good rule of thumb to avoid leaving gas in the tank or a
storage container for more than a coupe of months, if one can avoid it.
And if we can't?
If gas will be in the tank or a storage container for a couple months, then it's a
wise move to buy some fuel system stabilizer and mix it in with the gasoline.
Do it before bringing the vehicle into long-term storage or before leaving the
lawn equipment fuel containers sitting for the winter.
The stabilizer helps prevent oxidation,
the main concern that can turn gas into garbage that clogs the system and leads to
expensive repair work.
Using fuel system stabilizer for extended storage is preferable to
draining the tank and leaving the system dry. This can cause rubber hoses,
gaskets and seals to dry-rot and crack, possibly leading to leaks and even a fire.
In addition, a dry system can expose the insides of metal fuel lines and the
gas tank to air and moisture, which can lead to or accelerate the formation of rust.
Fuel system stabilizer is not a cure-all and it doesn't last forever.
It must be mixed with fresh gas before the vehicle is stored,
not added to already old gas. It can slow down the oxidation process and keep
gas fresh for as long as 12 to 15 months.
If the owner is going to leave the vehicle parked for longer than that,
drain the tank and refill with fresh fuel before returning the vehicle to service.
