:: Welcome to my online journal, which is for notes on the website, life, thoughts(both literal and graphical) and everything after. Also, for that many of you have suggested in your emails to set up a blog for communication purpose. Now you have it.
I will upload new entries often so feel free to bump in anytime. Thanks for being here.

9.3.07 ---> MAKING the SCENE. Alternative Clothing

Hi all,

Wish a great Labor Day to our vistors in the U.S.. Many consider summer ends on this day so is the barbeque, picnic season.

The world is a show, sarcastically speaking. Many unusual, unluck events happening. I'm not going to even mention them becuase the list will go on forever. You all know what I'm about to say, just look at the politics, enviroment issues,...and what have you.

I'm directing scenes on our website(at least now for the most part) and a different show to an extent. It will change when you all jump in, able to share opinions and your screenshots. It's quiet in the flight simulator community these days. I hope my contribution for the small part can help liven - up a bit. Indeed, we have our own show.

Okay, time for the mailbag. Btw, a forum will be set up where you can chat online, and I'll occasionally drop in. But I will mainly be using this blog area to communicate with you. And of course, you can continue to email me if that's your preferred method. In other words, the soon to come FORUM is reserved for you guys!

1). You want to know [why/how (is/was)] this background color chosen for the diary.
I think the color blends well with the page background. Originally I thought not to add anything at all ; words on top using the same background design you see elswhere on this website. Later, I see something not right or missing. That's where this idea emerged. Avoiding the wavy/curly, or rough surface for the journal to be comfortably readable, tweak it a darker color for a frame to create a boundry. Some of you dislike the color...but it's the closest to matching the background.

2). The Gallery Main page layout.
An imitation of flight schedule display.

3). New catagories popping up.
One thing leads to the other. I find many subjects inter-related and I try to cover them all. Most materials need updating as time comes so be sure to check them periodically on same items you've read before.

4). What am I listening, watching, eating and doing(besides rumbling VFG).
I've answered some in your emails, and, here are just a few I'd replied and think it's okay to share with all of you; hey, hey, including those of you never email me. It's okay, you're all in.

Alternative Clothing Music Smileys

::: Music style (mostly instrumental) :::
*Jazz, bluegrass, celtic music, classical music, piano/keyboard solos, and, songs performed only with acoustic(classic) and electric guitars are all on my play list.

Google them and check Wikipedia, YouTube, MySpace, Facebook, Vh1 and their official sites(i.e. record label company) if you want to learn more about them...which I assume most of you already did.

::: On the Air :::
*KQED - Bay Area local / PRI(Public Radio International) - includes BBC World / NPR(National Public Radio). If you are in the Bay Area, tune - in to FM 88.5. Great programs, news, topics and information from all over the world that will help you live better and keep you educated/informed. No commercials / rubbish talk. All programs present in "News/Conference/Workshop" style. Check out website: NPR radio.
Alternative Clothing

*FM 96.1 (International Community - Bay Area radio).

*Lastly, KPFA - Berkeley, CA., FM 94.1 (Multi - culture channel).

You may do a search for the radio stations mentioned above in Wikipedia. Type in the name / (code) call - sign of the radio station in the search box, click "Search" / "Go", and it will bring up the history, airing schedules and all the programs(with short descriptions) that may be of your interest.

The electric guitar is one of my favorite instruments. Fender, Gibson, Ibanez, Epiphone, Rogue and other few seldomly known(used) brands are all good manufacturers. I like the looks of Fender Strats(aka the Stratocaster series). They have the clean looks, classic, wide-range note plays and fast!

Music Smileys<< Fender Stratocaster; the "Strat". John Mayer is good at Strats and on other brands as well. No wonder the TIME magazine named him the "Guitar God". I think we all agree. Any of you play guitar? (or string instrument(s) for that matter.)

I played violin when I was a kid, but never good at it. Music Smileys Give me a buzz in an email.

Music Smileys Playing drums is a good physical and mental excerise and it helps to burn 250-500 calories per hour depending on the intensity of the music.

Watching - -
Nothing. I hardly watch TV. (May be I have too many rocks in my head...jokingly).

I used to watch the Food TV / Food Network channel. Nowadays I just read them online. Their website contain contents that aired on the very same day on TV. If you are a food frenzy / fanatic or seeking Glutton for Punishment, click this: Food Network.com.

Eating - - Alternative Clothing
Probably the same as what you eat, but with some twist... ?#%&=...

Finally, it's here. The long waited section for this site - the jBLOG(journal blog) to satisfy the curiosity in all of you ; that is to say what's up with YT and the projects. Also, this is a convenient place for me to reply all your non-personal requests/questions and letters. Yes, this literal space is addition to viewing photos in the 'Gallery' to enhance the overall experience. Stay awake though...I'm adding new features now and then. It will be nice to have RSS function in supplement to this website, which is also in my consideration. After then, I will "FEED YOU LIVE".

So, how are you all doing in the grand scheme of things? To our friends in north of the equator - I hope summer is not scorching you. Well, it is that way in California. The sun is hot, bright, and I haven't see a drop in months. Not to mention wild fires everywhere in the state; L.A. region, north Bay Area and to the east, too,...etc. Adding more carbon footprint and blanketing the atmosphere further to aggregate the already not - so - friendly environment.

I'll just go with the flow of weather. This is officially the last month of summer, anyway. I'm looking forward to Fall, my favorite season, particullary in October when it's shaded in orange. Here's an early 'Hello' to the pumpkinman.

Errr...should I say: Good things come to ones who wait(not in a brag way)?. Sorry to be mean. Anyhow, again, thank you all for being patient. I'll stop my ramble.

Food tips: Summertime melon crazy:

(1) Make shallow slits on the rind(it need only to be skin deep), if keeping the papaya for a while after bringing it home. Doing so allow the bitter taste, milk - color(sometimes transparent) fluid to flow out naturally. It helps keep the fruit sweet preventing the undesired juice to seep inside.

(2) Choose cantaloupe/honeydew melon that have some dark spots on the skin. But avoid those that have excessive mold. This proves the fruit is sweet to its peak. The dark spots are created by the honey - sweet juice that are ready to flow out from the rind that the fruit can not hold inside any longer. In other words, the inside of the fruit is saturated with liquid. Some store owners / managers throw these dark-spotted fruit out thinking they are about to rot, which they are not.

All melons should be heavy in their size and emit a flower - scent aroma.

I leave you with a poem.

º Letters º
I looked back how far I've come.
Resistant to procrastinate is futile, so I won't pretend.
You watched me climb and done.
With that said, it will be fine in the end.

Thank you for the letters that you thought encouraged me.
Your words helped me to see a little insight.
For which that I can see further.
And your soul tell the story that we are all the same.

I've seen eyes look at me.
There's a long road with curves ahead.
You and I, the rubber that meets the asphalt.
They say it's easy to fall but everything has to come to a round.

So thank you for the letters that you thought encouraged me.
And for the times you waited patiently for things to change.
You waited for me, for me in the rain.
This space we share, would never be the same without you here.
